The Alliance Council was assembled to supplement the governance activities carried out by governing boards and/or the management tasks carried out by staff members. Alliance Council members can perform a variety of jobs, many of which are central to an organization's activites. Overall, alliance councils provide specialized expertise that may be missing from your board or staff.
