The Electronic Security Association is lead by an executive team under the authority of the board of directors to uphold the By-Laws and Code of Ethics. ESA is further enhanced by the many dedicated volunteers that serve on various chapter committees.
Leadership
The Electronic Security Association is governed by the Board of Directors, who are elected every two years and are committed to the advancement of the electronic systems industry through best practices, industry education and a compelling vision of the future of the industry. Our chapter is further enhanced due to the many dedicated members that serve on various Committees. The general purpose of the Board of Directors as a whole is to provide general governance and direction of ESA affairs to optimize the growth and performance of the organization at all levels.
The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that strategies and policies that are developed, discussed and implemented will enable the organization to achieve its mission and vision, and for monitoring and evaluating the organization's implementation of those strategies and policies.
It is the duty of the board to determine and understand the association's mission, vision and purposes.
All Powers vested by law in the Association shall be exercised by or under the authority of, and the business and affairs shall be managed under the direction of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall conduct business on behalf of the Members.
