• Sales personnel will be expected to know how to conduct a site security survey, assess the customer's unique security needs and concerns, and determine the proper intrusion system equipment to satisfy those needs and concerns.
• A clear understanding of applicable security codes and standards is necessary for both technical and sales personnel.

• Sales personnel will be expected to know how to review building blueprints and drawings, identify the specific detection and notification requirements for the occupancy type, and determine the proper fire alarm system equipment to satisfy the applicable code requirements.

• Technical staff will be expected to understand the proper operation of the applicable system wiring and equipment, know how to implement a logical testing procedure for identifying system faults, use various hand and power tools and test equipment, and possess customer service skills.
• Sales personnel will be expected to know the various code related test, inspection and maintenance requirements for the applicable systems, and determine the proper schedule frequency necessary to aid the customer in satisfying these requirements.

• A clear understanding of lighting requirements, building blueprints and drawings and applicable security codes, standards and privacy issues are necessary for both technical and sales personnel.

• Due to its advanced nature, a clear understanding of project management requirements, building blueprints and drawings and applicable codes, standards and related issues are necessary for system integrator personnel.
