Massachusetts Becomes First State Ever To Ban Employers From Asking For Salary Histories

Massachusetts has made history as the first state to take a giant leap toward pay equality by banning employers from asking for salary histories until after a job offer has been made. The new law also removes the mandate of paying men and women the same in the ‘exact’ same job and demands equal pay in ‘comparable’ roles, thus removing a loop hole. Read more.
