Potter Electric Expands Social Media to Increase Product Awareness

Potter Electric Signal Company, LLC of St. Louis, announced an expansion of its social media reach with a strong presence in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and YouTube.

"Potter has been a leader in the life safety market for over 114 years," said Eric Lauver, marketing communications manager for Potter Electric. "As a leader, one of our main goals is to continue providing our customers with the ability to stay updated on Potter using the medium with which they are most comfortable. Social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter allow us to spread the news about our latest innovations to a greater audience more quickly. Additionally, we are utilizing YouTube to get additional training to our customers on our new PFC Series Fire Alarm Control Panels which took best fire/life safety product at the most recent ISC West Expo.”

With the addition of social media to Potter’s marketing efforts, they will exponentially increase and build upon their solid customer base.

"We’ve integrated social media buttons into almost every page of our website allowing our customers quick access to sign up for news feeds from Potter," said Potter Electric Web and Graphic Designer Brian Lewis. "They’ll be able to find out about a new product through their Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ feeds; see updates through our LinkedIn page; or read articles on their phone using their favorite RSS app. We even provide our customers the ability to get additional product and news updates by providing their name and email address.”

Potter plans to continue to evolve its digital media presence through additional options for customers to stay updated on the latest news from the company as well as continued updates to its website allowing for easier access to the content that matters most.
