Monitronics Names New Vice President Operations

Posted By Jeaneen Bengtson, Monday, November 5, 2012

Monitronics International, Inc., the nation’s second-largest residential security provider, has promoted Bruce Mungiguerra to the newly-created position of vice president operations. In this position Mungiguerra will oversee all aspects of the company’s dealer and customer operations. His areas of responsibility will include customer care, alarm response center, sales and the Monitronics Dealer Program.

"We are excited to announce this expansion of Bruce’s role," said Monitronics CEO and President Mike Haislip. "He has been a valued leader at Monitronics since he arrived six years ago. Bruce has positively impacted Monitronics in progressively responsible roles. As we continue to grow, he will work closely with Vice President Customer Care Rob Washington and Vice President Monitoring Operations Darin Anderson to maintain a seamless and industry-leading customer experience.”

Mungiguerra joined Monitronics in 2006 with more than 19 years of operations, sales and call-center leadership experience. He received several promotions and in 2011, was named vice president sales and dealer development. He will continue to oversee all aspects of the Authorized Dealer network in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining Monitronics, Bruce spent five years at Brink’s Home Security in various leadership positions in sales and field operations. Before joining Brink’s, he spent 14 years at Delta Air Lines in call center management.
