COPS Monitoring Expands Focus on South Central Territory

Posted By Jeaneen Bengtson, Monday, August 19, 2013

COPS Monitoring, a leading nationwide provider of wholesale alarm monitoring services headquartered inWilliamstown, N.J., expanded support of their newest 8,000-square-foot UL listed central station in Lewisville, Texas by adding account executives Julie Jordan and T.J. Cornwall. Jordan will manage East Texas and Louisiana, and Cornwall will manage West Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Jordan joins COPS Monitoring with an education in business communications and 15 years in sales, with the last seven years working at local Dallas area alarm companies. A longtime Texas resident, Jordan has been involved in the Grapevine and Ft. WorthChambers of Commerce for several years.

"I am passionate about the alarm industry," said Jordan. "I have a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and I am anxious to help alarm dealers grow their business."

After graduating from Penn State University in 2009, Cornwall moved to Australia to work as a Key Accounts Manager under the tutelage of Justin Viles co-founder of Google Australia. Cornwall is now settled into the Dallas/Fort Worth area and describes his feelings working with COPS as 'excited, grateful, motivated, and humble.'

"With 35 years of experience supporting independent alarm dealers," said Cornwall, "COPS Monitoring is the leader in our industry. I am excited to meet alarm dealers in my region and show them how COPS gives them a competitive advantage."

"Opening our central station near Dallas last year and integrating it into our network of load sharing central stations was just the first step to our commitment to support this large region," said Jim McMullen, president and COO of COPS Monitoring. "We are already members of the Texas and North Texas Alarm Associations. We plan to become very active participants both in the associations and with our own initiatives as we host and conduct training classes and seminars for alarm dealers at our Texas central station."
