Monitronics wins two 2014 American Business Awards

Posted By Administration, Tuesday, June 17, 2014

The Monitronics Dealer Program has won two American Business Awards for Sales Technology and Brand Experience of the Year at the 12th annual awards banquet held June 13, 2014 at the Fairmont Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

The prestigious awards honor and generate public recognition for the achievements and positive contributions the participating organizations provide worldwide.

Competing with a record 3,300 award nominations and organizations ranging from virtually every size and every industry, Monitronics was selected for award placement by nine specialized judging committees involving more than 280 executives.

The Stevie’s American Business Awards honored Monitronics with silver in Business-to-Business Brand Experience of the Year for its ISC West tradeshow exhibit and campaign to prospective alarm dealers.

In Monitronics’ 2013 ISC West promotion, “The Ultimate Drive: High Performance Challenge,” alarm dealers who joined the program could earn a BMW 5-series and other special prizes by meeting certain performance objectives in their first year. The results were excellent: Monitronics had the highest-attended “VIP” event and saw a program-record number of prospects signed.

Monitronics received bronze in Sales Technology for its electronic or ‘eContract’ application– designed to eliminate the hard-copy paperwork that is traditionally filled out for a new customer contract.

Using eContract, salesmen now can quickly complete an electronic version of each contract, in the customer’s home, on an iPad or Android tablet. eContract walks a salesman through the required steps to fill out all paperwork. Once the customer has confirmed the information and acknowledged his or her understanding of it, the salesman simply hits “submit.” A PDF copy is then sent instantly to the company and the customer.

“Our sales and marketing teams continue to raise the bar for the Monitronics Dealer Program,” said Bruce Mungiguerra, Monitronics vice president operations. “They’re constantly formulating new ways to express all the advantages that a company has as a Monitronics dealer. We continue to see excellent growth as a result.”
