500, the 2014 ESA Gives Back charity of choice, is seeking applicants for both the 2014 Mission 500 Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) Award and Humanitarian Award. The awards will be presented
at a special cocktail reception on April 3 during ISC West
in Las Vegas.
Mission 500 CSR Award honors a company in the security industry that has made a
significant contribution to those in need. The judging criteria includes an
assessment of applicants’ CSR programs as they relate to effectiveness in
helping the communities on which they focus, involvement of company personnel, the
sustainability and long term impact of the programs and activities that go
beyond financial contributions.

contributions toward social causes. The CSR Award recipient in 2013 was systems
integrator Convergint Technologies. The company celebrates Convergint Social
Responsibility Day each June, and is involved with many causes and has
contributed to more than 120 organizations since 2002.

ISC West, Mission 500 will also present its Humanitarian Award, which
recognizes an individual in the security industry who has made important contributions
to those in need. The 2013 recipient was Michael Keegan, a veteran of
the security industry and vice president of the Board of Directors for Teton
Youth and Family Services (TYFS) in Jackson, Wyo.
To nominate an individual for the 2014 Humanitarian Award, please send George Fletcher (email@example.com) a detailed description about his or her community work, commitment to social causes and why you believe he or she should be honored with this award. Nominations must be sent no later than Feb. 28, 2014.
