The NJ School Security Task Force released a report and recommendations on July 9th. The task force was formed to develop a list of practical recommendations to improve the safety and security of New Jersey's schoolchildren, school staff, and school buildings. The report referenced ESA's Electronic Security Guidelines for Schools. The Guidelines were designed for school officials to utilize when evaluating their security plan and provide an in-depth look at the various components that lead to an effective school security program. Be sure to bring the ESA Electronic Security Guidelines for Schools to your next meeting with school administrators in your area.
