Who You Don't Know Can Hurt You...

Posted By ESA Communications, Tuesday, September 29, 2015

As business leaders we are well experienced in how valuable relationships are to being successful. In fact independent company owners and managers should be spending a rather large part of their time developing relationships through membership and participation in associations, civic groups and especially Chambers of Commerce. But how do you do this and still run your business?

Do you even know the name of the police executives, sheriffs and chiefs, in the markets where you do business? If there was a conflict, or a potential for conflict, with a jurisdiction would you know who to call? Would these executives even take your call? Most important would they meet with and listen to what you have to say? If your answer to these questions is NO, should you be worried?

Well, for over a decade SIAC has been developing these relationships for you.

Through sponsorships, attendance at meetings and active participation SIAC has created real partnerships with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), The State Association of Chiefs of Police (SACOP) and the National Sheriffs Association (NSA). These are strong, and many times personal, relationships that allow us to intervene for you and your customers.

However, all of this comes at a cost and the only source of funding for SIAC is through funding (donations) by you. There is no better time for you to join in the effort to keep the communications open between the industry, your customers and law enforcement. Please visit www.siacinc.org, look at the short list of contributors and join these responsible and relevant companies in supporting one of the most successful industry efforts ever to have been undertaken. We need you now!
