Honing Human Capital: New Challenges for a New Era in Security

Developing and managing human capital (a.k.a. staff) is one of the most critical responsibilities of company leaders. Join us at 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 21, 2013 at the ESA Leadership Summit to hear insights from industry leaders charged with executive management, operational management and sales management within their organizations as well as perspectives from the next generation of leaders on topics including:

  • Sourcing and on-boarding new technical and sales staff
  • Training and developing existing staff
  • Cross training and other requirements associated with interactive services
  • Effective compensation, incentive and recognition strategies

Hear from some of the best on what the key issues, strategies and tactics are, then dig in deeper with questions and contributions of your own.

1.

How are you finding new technical staff?

What are the strengths and weaknesses of your current tech staff recruitment approach?

What resource(s) do you wish you had to improve the process and results?

Describe the on-boarding process for a typical technician hire – orientation, training, socialization.

Do you know other companies that are doing a good job in this area? Who, why, how?
