Arizona Alarm Association’s support of Security America RRG pays off

Posted By Bob Ogle, Wednesday, January 18, 2012

During the ESA Board of Directors meeting at Leadership Summit on Jan. 12, Security America Risk Retention Group President Michael Keegan presented Maria Malice, president of the Arizona Alarm Association, with a check for $1,000 for her organization after it finished first in a competition with other Chartered Chapters.

In conjunction with its annual trip-giveaway campaign, Security America RRG conducted a contest in 2011 among ESA Chartered Chapters to rally support and encourage members to call for a quote. The chapter that produced the highest percentage of new requests for no-obligation quotes received a cash prize.

Arizona was the chapter that produced the highest percentage of new requests for no-obligation quotes from SAARG directly from their state, based on membership numbers. SARRG created the contest in 2011 leading up to ESX as a way of promoting awareness of Security America RRG as the only commercial liability insurance company endorsed by ESA.

In a show of generosity after receiving the check, however, Malice told ESA’s board that the prize would be donated on behalf of the Arizona chapter to the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC).
