SB336 Legislative Update From LLSSA

On May 22nd, the Senate Commerce Committee considered SB336, which alters the definition of certain contractors, including electrical contractors, which affects the electronic security and life safety industry. An added phrase in the current definition of an electrical contractor could result in repercussions as they relate to license and permit capabilities. SB336 has been deferred but will remain on the radar of LLSSA.
