Now Accepting Applications for the Youth Scholarship Program
The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is pleased to announce that 18 ESA Chartered Chapters will take part in the 2016 Youth Scholarship Program, sponsored by DMP, Hikvision and Monitronics. The program was created to promote goodwill among the electronic life safety and security industry and police and fire officers by providing college scholarship awards to their deserving sons or daughters. NTS Certification Renewal Price Change
As of January 1st, 2016 the renewal fee for ESA members has changed to $70 for members & $170 for non-members in order to reflect the additional year of certification. Roseville, CA Enforces ECV
As of January 1, 2016 Roseville, CA police began enforcing ECV (Enhanced Call Verification) on burglar alarm calls from alarm companies. If a burglar alarm is activated, alarm companies are now required to call the home or business at least two times with two different numbers to see if authorities are needed at the location.
