The New Year Is Here and it’s All About Networking!
2016 has finally arrived and this year’s Leadership Summit event is only a few weeks away! The format of the event focuses on bringing together members of the electronic security industry and fostering new connections.
  • The Online Networking Tool is now live! Using the username and password credentials you received in your Summit registration confirmation email, log in and access the Summit Networking Tool. Once you are logged in, you can update your profile then search for other attendees and sponsors and set up appointments prior to their arrival. In order to make the most of your networking time in Phoenix, please be sure to manage your meeting requests. Click here for instructions on how to navigate the Online Networking Tool.
  • Lunch with Sponsors allows for a quiet, relaxed environment for attendees to meet and network with Summit sponsors. This is a great time to continue conversations after seminars, sessions and scheduled meetings.
  • The Speed Networking event, a hit at the 2015 Summit, will return at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1! This year’s event is a 90-minute blitz of meeting with potential business connections sponsored by ADI, Altronix, Hikvision and Security America RRG. The event ends early enough to allow for newly-connected colleagues to continue their conversations elsewhere or over dinner if they so choose. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!
  • Scheduled Appointments: There are two dedicated time periods on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for scheduled appointments. There’s no better time to sit down to make those all-important business connections.
Weinstock and Jackson Recipients to be Announced at the Summit
ESA’s two most prestigious awards, the Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year and the Sara E. Jackson Memorial Award winner, will be announced at Leadership Summit.

The Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year, sponsored by Interlogix, acknowledges the outstanding achievement of a very special individual and their continued efforts on behalf of ESA and the industry. The Weinstock Person of the Year will be announced on Tuesday evening at the Diamond Event, also sponsored by Interlogix.

The winner of the Sara E. Jackson Memorial Award will be recognized during the Wednesday General Session. Sponsored by Honeywell, the Jackson Award honors the memory of Sara E. Jackson and recognizes an ESA volunteer who has exhibited exceptional leadership skills on an ESA committee, task force or board.

Spotlight on the Closing Event

The Leadership Summit will culminate with a special closing event at Chrome nightclub that starts at 5pm on Wednesday. Be sure to enjoy the last opportunity to network with your peers and set up next steps with the sponsors you met with during the week. This will be a super fun event to cap off a great week of education and networking!
