SECURE+ Initiative Sees Growth with the Addition of Four New Members
Bonds Alarm Co., Act Now Alarm, Rapid Security Solutions and Vivint join the SECURE+ Initiative

Irving, Texas (March 20, 2013) — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is pleased to announce that four companies have joined the growing group of SECURE+ integrators. The companies, Bonds Alarm Co., Phoenix, Ariz.; Act Now Alarm, Clinton Township, Mich.; Rapid Security Solutions, Sarasota, Fla.; and Vivint, Provo, Utah, are the newest members of the SECURE+ Initiative, an exclusive members-only program for companies that demonstrate expertise in automation and interactive services.

SECURE+ integrators are active members of ESA, the largest professional trade association in the U.S. representing the electronic security industry. SECURE+ integrators are highly qualified and trusted companies that deliver simple, affordable security, energy management and control solutions.

The market for enhanced home and building control is growing significantly as home and business owners realize the benefits of being able to protect, connect and control their homes and businesses from virtually anywhere using smartphones and other wireless devices. According to a report by Juniper Research, the smart home market is projected to reach $60 billion globally by 2017, rising from $25 billion in 2012.

The demand for enhanced control solutions and interactive services has presented an expansion opportunity for the security industry, prompting the development of the SECURE+ Initiative. Through a proactive public awareness campaign, SECURE+ has helped market enhanced services offered by SECURE+ integrators, the trusted source for installing and monitoring integrated systems.

"We’re proud to have four new companies join the SECURE+ Initiative,” ESA President John Knox said. "These companies are a group of ESA members that are meeting the growing need for trustworthy security and automation providers across the nation.”
