ESA Leadership Summit Announces Dan Schawbel as General Session Speaker
Session will focus on recruiting, retaining and growing young talent

Irving, Texas (Sept. 10, 2014) — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is pleased to announce that Dan Schawbel, managing partner of Millennial Branding, will headline the Tuesday general session at the ESA Leadership Summit, held Feb. 8-11 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Schawbel, a two-time bestselling author and columnist at TIME and Forbes, will discuss best practices related to attracting, managing and maintaining millennials in a general session entitled, “Building the Workforce of Tomorrow: How to Recruit, Retain & Grow Your Young Talent.” Schawbel will use case studies and research to give attendees knowledge and actionable steps that will help their companies motivate tomorrow’s workforce. The invigorating session will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 10 and is a must attend event for managers, human resource leaders and business owners. The session is graciously sponsored by Altronix, one of ESA’s Silver Executive Strategic Partners.

After the general session, the conversation continues in a related seminar presented by Schawbel and sponsored by  Telguard. Seminar attendees will get a deeper look at ways to implement new strategies to entice and retain young talent; how to save on hiring costs by getting the most out of current employees; and methods for effectively managing millennials.

“The 2015 Leadership Summit is on track to be the best one yet,” said ESA President Marshall Marinace. “We have a beautiful new location, several exciting networking features and a strong roster of speakers that will motivate attendees to improve their businesses. I’m looking forward to attending the sessions and learning something new from each presenter.”

Headquartered at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, the 2015 ESA Leadership Summit is formatted to appeal to security industry professionals who want their businesses to thrive, not just survive. Accordingly, the Summit will feature a robust speaker and seminar line-up to give attendees actionable and applicable takeaways that they can immediately implement. The event is sponsored by Interlogix, Honeywell, Telguard, Altronix, Security America Risk Retention Group, Digital Watchdog, Kwikset, Linear, OpenEye, Perennial Software, Security Partners, United Central Control, and WeSuite.
