ESA Launches New NTS Newsletter
Monthly newsletter profiles security integrators, features
course instructors and highlights recent graduates

Irving, Texas, March 9, 2010 - The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has launched a new e-newsletter, NTS News, to shine a light on security integrators successfully implementing education and training in their companies. The e-newsletter also documents the experiences of students, and introduces the innovative instructors that deliver the National Training School’s (NTS) broad offering of courses.

The monthly e-newsletter, which can be viewed online at, includes a monthly profile of a security company emphasizing training, a Q&A with an NTS instructor, course highlights and more.

"NTS News lets us feature security companies that make training and education an integral part of their business, including how training improves their profits, marketing efforts and employee morale,” says Paul Baran, chair of the ESA’s Education and Training Committee. "As proper training becomes even more important to the success of security companies, we want the industry to know about our expanded curriculum and certification lineup and the most effective ways to tap these resources.”

NTS News has already spotlighted dealers such as Matthew Ladd of Exton, PA-based The Protection Bureau, and Tim Creenan of Buffalo, NY-based Amherst Alarm. It has also taken a look back at NTS’ past 25 years with veterans such as Paul Baran and Ron Petrarca.

"NTS is a training program that covers every aspect of the security industry, from critical courses like Certified Alarm/Security Technician – Level 1 to new revenue opportunities such as Troubleshooting, Service and Maintenance (TSM),” says L.J. Lynes, co-chair of the Education and Training Committee. "The e-newsletter will give industry companies and individuals a chance to stay informed about how NTS can help their business be more productive and professional”

NTS News is published on the final Tuesday of each month. The first two issues may be viewed now at
