SMP Webinar to Focus on Modern-Day Marketing Solutions
Irving, Texas, Aug. 26, 2011 — The newly launched Sales & Marketing Professionals (SMP) group, sponsored by the Electronic Security Association (ESA), announces a special webinar for SMP members focusing on modern-day marketing solutions for those overwhelmed by the variety of marketing options available in today’s social media environment.
The webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. CDT and led by Nasrin Thierer, Founder and CEO of Revenew Online, will cover website basics, co-branded marketing campaigns and internet tactics, along with information about building and executing marketing plans.
SMP chair Gerrit Brusse, Regional Sales Manager, ADS Security, Nashville, TN, and vice-chair Lisa Matthews, CTS, Marketing & Communications Coordinator for Safety Technology/Audio Video Interiors, Middleburg Heights, OH, planned the webinar to serve sales and marketing staff of security integration companies, including vice presidents, directors and managers of sales and marketing and other leaders. Sales and marketing leaders of ESA associate member companies are also welcome to lend their expertise and advice to channel partners.
"Sales and marketing practices in the security industry are constantly evolving,” said SMP chair Gerrit Brusse. "Lisa Matthews and I will be working hard to make sure SMP helps members stay up-to-speed on trends while keeping tabs on the particular legal and ethical requirements of selling and marketing security systems.”
