ADS Security, Wayne Alarm Win Referral Program Best Practice Awards
ESA’s Sales & Marketing Professionals Honor Industry Leading Companies
Irving, Texas (July 17, 2012) — An effective referral program is a cornerstone of business growth for security dealers and integrators. Two companies that have mastered the art of turning referrals into revenue are Wayne Alarm, based in Lynn, Mass., and ADS Security, based in Nashville, Tenn.
Both companies were recognized on June 27 at the 2012 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Nashville by the Electronic Security Association’s Sales & Marketing Professionals (SMP) as winners of the inaugural SMP Referral Program Best Practice Awards. The awards, which were sponsored by ESA associate members Netsertive and Revenew, were announced on the ESX show floor by SMP Chair Gerrit Brusse of USA Burglar and Fire Alarm and Vice-Chair Lisa Matthews of Safety Technologies.
Wayne Alarm and ADS each received a $450 cash award for their winning entries. The awards were presented by Jamie Sasser, Business Development Director for Netsertive; and Kara Holder, Director of Marketing for Revenew.
"We were excited to learn about the various programs that members have in place to obtain referrals," Matthews said. "Entries included programs that incentivized team members, rewarded current clients and motivated new clients. We also gained insights into how they were presented and managed. This peer-to-peer sharing of ideas is invaluable and proves the value of what the ESA can bring to its members and the security industry.
