You'll put a human face on issues that impact your business and our industry as a whole.
New: Meet state fire marshals at Tuesday's Diamond Dinner

21, at 2 p.m. Eastern / 1 p.m. Central time. ESA Government Relations
Director John Chwat will provide valuable insight into the issues that
will be discussed on Capitol Hill, and offer tips about how to influence
the legislators and staff members you'll be interacting with, The webinar is graciously sponsored by Telguard and Tri-Ed Distribution. Click here to register.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Business attire is required, and comfortable walking shoes are also strongly suggested. John Chwat and his staff will provide you with information, including talking points and summary briefs about the issues you'll be talking about. You'll be briefed beforehand, and you'll be able to report your success afterward. All you have to do is be on time and enjoy walking through some of Washington's most impressive and historic scenery.
Will I get to meet with members of Congress?
You'll meet either with Senators or Representatives, or their staff members. Last year, there were 73 delegates from 21 states who had face-to-face meetings with members of Congress, as well as a number of meetings with high level staffers. Altogether, DOCH participants visited 96 offices in the House of Representatives and 33 offices in the Senate.
It sounds like all work and no play; is it?
Not at all. This year's event includes a Monday reception at the hotel, graciously sponsored by Honeywell, ESA's exclusive Platinum Sponsor; as well as Tuesday night's Diamond Dinner and reception, which is graciously sponsored by Interlogix, ESA's exclusive Diamond Sponsor. It's the perfect opportunity to touch base with your friends, and to make new personal connections that will last a lifetime.
