The Green Beret Foundation, in the years since its creation, has provided immediate financial assistance to Green Berets injured in the line of duty, as well as to their families and families of Green Berets who gave their lives in the service of their country. The Foundation also provides funds to support the extended care of an injured Green Beret when the Veteran’s Administration does not, while also focusing on the immediate special needs of wounded Green Berets.
Programs offered by the Foundation include immediate casualty care and extended care for the individual and his family, as well as funeral support for Gold Star Families, the “Steel Mags” spousal support group and scholarships for high school seniors.
ESA Gives Back will be raising funds and providing additional resources to one of the Green Beret Foundation’s programs called the Next Ridgeline. The Next Ridgeline provides current and former U.S. Army Green Berets, who are transitioning back into civilian life, the tools and resources they need to be successful in their endeavors.
