Certifications available:Two certifications available. Individuals holding a Certified Alarm/Security Technician - Level I certification for a minimum of 24 months, and who successfully complete the Advanced Intrusion Systems course and the Fire Alarm Installation Methods course are eligible for certification as a Certified Alarm Technician Level II – formerly known as an Advanced Alarm Technician.Individuals holding a Certified Alarm/Security Technician - Level I certification for a minimum of 12 months, and who successfully complete this course and the Life Safety Code course, are eligible for certification as a Certified Fire Alarm Technician.
